In order to support other interaces, we need to have translators. That is done on a volonteer basis. As this does not allow us to be sure of the content being published on a regular basis, we prefer to let it go as oppose to have more languages which would only be completed at 10%.
As we do not have enough request for that, it doesn't justify the cost it would require to rely on an infrastructure for that. So, this is why we turned into a volunteer basis for the Spanish interface. The English and French interfaces are supported by me. We cannot have someone to commit to maintain that on regular basis when it is done on a volunteer basis. We had translators before who maintained Portuguese and other interfaces. But, it was going no where in those conditions.
