When we try to open an MDB file (Access 2000) we get the following message:
'The ADP file is not in the correct format for a Microsoft Access project.'
The file does not open. We get the same message if we attempt to compact and repair the database. We get the same message if we attempt to import the tables into a new MDB file.

I don't know what the user did to cause the problem and I'm not able to open it to try to solve the problem. I'm stumped!

Does anyone know what I can do to solve the problem?
