I need it because I only add the code in the table. The description comes from another table.

Say for example, I have a table named techEngr where I store these values(Unique no, engrcode, techcode and Level). The first combobox is bound to field techcode while the second combobox must get the corresponding description of the selected techcode to another table which is(the rowsource of the first combobox = techskill.)

what i did is:
On the click event of the first combobox, I seek for the techcode in the techskill table and assign the description to the second combobox. This seem to work but when I started to populate the grid, everytime I click the 2nd combobox which is in readonly mode, the value changes to the first record that was added. Why is this so?
