Set the ROWSOURCE type to FIELDS like my main form ( using a cursor ), ran the form and it also deselected the items when TABbing into the listbox. But, when I set the ROWSOURCE type to ARRAY, created and populated the array and bound it to the listbox, TABbing into the listbox did not deselect the items. I wonder if it could have something to do with tables as ROWSOURCEs per se, or possibly record pointers?

Jim,
Yeah, I usually use cursors for listboxes and combos, I just like 'em :-). But if I can't find a workaround for this I may have to switch to an array or something. Making it hard on me because if I shut down the form, then start it back up with items that should already be selected, I can't get them to be selected on entry. Once the listbox gets focus, all items are deselected. Tried playing some games in the listbox GotFocus but no success yet. If I learn anything else, I'll post it.
Thanks,
Bill
