I just wanted to provide a quick and dirty way of doing it which seems to work fine.

>Just a note: if the files are huge (more than 16MB), this method probably would not work. You now need to use low-level functions (pure VFP code) or write DLL/FLL in C, to remove this symbol from file. See FAQ "Removing Double quotes from text file" for discussion of the latest idea.
