The questions I would ask is does this person understand my business (for this application) ?
Does this developer understand OOP even on the most basic of levels?

Is this developer willing and able to change their programming style to fit my needs and or requirements?

How quickly do I need them to get up to speed on my programming style?

I am I willing to training or give direction to this person in what I need?

Does this person understand SQL on a beginning / intermediate level?

What are their skill(s): example. Data base design, project management, requirement(s) gathering / analysis, personality, and people skills?

Do I feel that I can work with this developer or the people who the project is for can work with this developer?
