That is a stack overflow, but the only instance of it ocurring that I know of was with docking toolbars (very rare) and was fixed in SP3. Have you cleaned up and indexed your tables lately? Your code should work fine as is (i tested it with no problems). do you have all of the service packs installed? Are you opening the file on a shared network and someone may have it open exclusively? Just covering all of the bases. I'm assuming that the table is open already, because if the table you specify isn't open, it is opened in a new work area and the new record is appended to the table, but the current work area remains selected. If the table you specify is open, INSERT appends the new record to the table. If the table is open in a work area other than the current work area, it isn't selected after the record is appended; the current work area still remains selected.

Maybe someone has seen this problem before?
