Ocaasionally we get a message "Can not update Cursor" while doing a build in VFP6 SP4. In almost every case, we have traced it down to a VCX that is located in a shared tools folder, under SourceSafe control in a project in that folder. As a work-around, we have found that if we set the Read-Only attributes OFF we can do the build ... but we have to make sure that we re-set them back to ON before we do any SourceSafe manipulation.

Does anyone out there have any ideas? Are we doing something wrong ... or have we been bitten by a bug?
