net use d: \\ipaddress\sharename

example: net use d: \\192.168.1.1\cdrive

assuming you have the proper user name and security on the host system and any firewall doesn't complain.

You can also go to "My Network Places" and "Add Network Place" and enter the path information if you have Windows 2000 or ME.
