Your recomendation hides menu bar but it doesn't removes completele menu along with the place where this menu is located. We want to use as much as possible screen space that's why we are looking at an oppotunuty to get more room on the screen.
The sample I mentioned before would serve to our purpose. I couldn't find it among downloads.
