Thanks for reply again. I will try to find out about opening certain tcp ports. but one thing i dont understand is when i am home i am not connected to any network. i use simple dial up networking to get on to internet. there is no firewall also in that case. so why is netmeeting couldn't connect to server in that case also? do you have any idea?
