Matt, I got the same problem 1 year ago and now when I reinstall VFP 5.0
on my new P.C.
Try this:
in System dir (on Nt it's system32) you must have 6 dll:
mfc30.dll, mfc40.dll, Msvcrt10.dll, Msvcrt20.dll, Msvcrt40.dll, olepro32.dll
if you miss a file you must copy from another P.C. (I could send you too)
after this, with regsvr32.exe in vfp dir register the six dll (using a command
prompt).
Now launch VFP, try to use acivex controls, It will work.
I solved my problem, hope it will solv your too.
Bye
Franco
