>>>I have read many good things about this framework, but I have also read that it is VERY slow relative to the other frameworks. Can anyone using the latest version of VFE comment on this issue? What sort of "hit" am I looking at, performance wise? I have many clients with 200-300 Mhz machines.

Download the Codemine Sample application to see its speed for yourself.
They have gone to great pains to avoid the use of a data dictionary keeping data access speeds very high.

The product is relatively bug free compared to VFE and Mere Mortals.

A good example of the quality of the Framework is the "CodeMine Object Inspector" that you can download for free.

The "Object Inspector" allows one to examine the PEMs of anything in a VFP application. It is great for troubleshooting, debugging etc etc.

Furthermore, the framework is flexible allowing you to use either class libraries(vcx) or the screen builder(scx) for forms. There are many other instances of flexibility throughout the framework. The documentation is adequate. Email customer support is prompt and useful.

I am a 'lone ranger' developer ; I do not have the benefit of learning from senior people with years of experience with a framework. Within this kind of environment I have found Codemine invaluable.
