Victor, I have used "like ' %'" in my views (very helpful for finding empty !NULL values). I guess I am going to have to create my views programatically each time and set all my properties every time. Too bad VFP doesn't have some sort of 'copy view' function to create a new view based on a existing view. Thanks again for your input.
