>Now in VFP 7.0 Every time I get a program error in the IDE, I now get the full debugger window splashed accross my screen. Since I'm debugging simple things like SQL statements, I would much prefer to just see the silly messagebox with the error message come up. How can I turn the debugger window OFF?
I'm not sure I understand exactly what you're describing, but do you mean you have the debugger environment set to the debugger frame instead of the foxpro frame? (Tools | Options | Debug | Environment)? When the debugger is activated, what's showing in it?
What's ON ERROR set to? Is the error in an object? What's the error method?
Otherwise, what's the context? Is it in a program? Just executing a SQL statement in the command window? And, what is the "silly messagebox" that you are wanting? Do you mean you don't see what stand VFP error for, say, data type mismatch?
