First, I was hired to get a handle on this mess. Although I am a FoxPro developer (10 years), I am the Project Manager and SQL DBA for this project.

My guess is the warm body approach to testing. They refuse to provide us with the test plans (although we were billed for them) and the testing results.

I have refoxed the exe that they sent us. Their single developer has NO classes, no naming convention and no inline documentation. The code is very DOS oriented. He created his own Status bar using ascii codes. There are 15 forms with the exact same layout and functionality, just the table name and two field names are different. It looks like he created each form from scatch. He used different memory variable names in each form.

I have a meeting arranged with the consulting company next week to voice my concerns and inform them as to what is expect from them inorder to get their invoices paid.
