i would like to try and develop an application software which would be able to scan the information on business cards (name, designation, company,
address details, telephone details, etc.) and insert a record into a table with the scanned details. Thus, saving time of having to manually type in the above details.

I am not aware as to how to go about this. therefore, i seek your valued guidance/advice or ducumentation as to how i should proceed.

besides, i would also like to develop a software to automatically keep track of ALL phone calls made from ALL telephones within an office. How do i
go about this job too ?

any advice/help will be greatly appreciated.
