Hi,

Have a look at NetLib. It does seamless encryption/decryption (to me anyway) :)
Just encrypt the data files (DBC, DCT, DCX, DBF, FPT, CDX, etc.) with a password, load the library and set the password and the data can be viewed with standard VFP commands.

Don't forget the password or you wond be able to see the data again :)
