Hi All

Does anyone have any comment on the use of the SYS(3050) function which controls the amount of foreground and background memory that VFP uses? I have an app which when processing a large file will run up its memory usage to over 120Mg of the available ram (visible under W2K task manager). Is this an optimal situation? How does one determine optimal settings (what guidelines) or is it better to leave it alone?
