Hi

I have two problems with running other applications from within a froxpro app.

Firstly, I need to wait until the application I am running (a string which the user may enter) to complete. I was creating a batch file which deletes another file after running the user command but this does not always work for various reasons.

=> How do others do this???
=> Is there a way to determine whether the task is still running
- Can I specify the name of the task being run and use a system call
to determine if the task still exists???

Secondly, I want to run a shortcut. This enables me to run without the command
window.

=> Any ideas???

Also, is it possible to add code to an object during runtime?
