I just installed MSDE from the VFP7 CD and I'm trying to use OSQL to get the MSDE version number. It keeps failing at login with "not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection" message.
I understand MSDE installs, by default, using Windows authentication. I installed the product as user Administrator under W2K and that's how I'm logged in now.
With Windows authentication, it should go right in, should it not?
