I read the thread and in short, it seems like the record in the .dbc that holds the view gets momentarily locked when the view fires and that we have to code to either trap the error or open the views another way. Funny that if I get this error once a week with a company that has about 20 users, that this would be more commonplace and therefore more "public knowledge" like other FP/VFP workarounds. Do you do anything to trap for this error or handle this problem? Could a few others pipe in and give samples of their code for handling this as well?
