>I'm assuming that your group header is checked to print at the top of each page. I know you can set up 2 groups with the same value. Perhaps you could check Group 1 (The 'outside' group) to print the page header data, but put the footer data into Group 2. That way the group 2 footer would print, but I think the group 1 header would still be the correct value. Worth a try, anyway.

Or perhaps I could an empty group which contained just the method
to set the value before the other group header is called. That's
good I'll try it. Thanks for the info.
