If the Publisher exists in the lookup view the operator clicks on the dropdown, finds the publisher and clicks to select it. This inforamtion is then saved in a primary titles bizobj.
If the publisher is not in the view the operator clicks on a button next to the dropdown which calls another clistObjEditForm or similar modal form, on this form a publishers bizobj needs to be changed to become the primary bizobj while the new publishers information is entered on the publishers form. When this information is saved and the screen released the original titles bizobj is once again upgraded to a primary bizobj, the lookup bizobj is refreshed and the operator selects the publisher as in paragraph one above.
