I think I posted this in the wrong area so I am posting this again under activex controls.
I am trying to use the Winsock activex control to create a network session between two foxpro applications. I do everything like the the MSDN says and it will not connect. The state property does not indicate that they are connected. I set the server form to start up set the localport and listen. I set the client app to start up set the remotehost and remoteport properties then connect. When I show the state of the controls the server says it is listening still and the client says that a socket is open, but there is no connection. I know that most of the instructions for this control are for Visual Basic But Microsoft says that it will work with foxpro. Can anyone help me?
