>I know that Microsoft lists 128MB as the minimum RAM requirement for running Windows XP Professional. Does anyone know of, or have an opinion on, the minimum RAM requirement for running Windows XP Professional as a developer?

My install of XP has 128mb and its pretty snappy. If its an option, I don't think RAM costs all that much, 256mb would be a safe way to go.

Actually, depending on where you get your version of XP, alot of retailers are giving out a free 128 mb chip with the OS.
