In the valid produre use RETURN +n OR -1, depending on how many objects whould like to skip !

I believe it's replacement is setfocus. However when I try to place it in the valid statement for the field that I used to trigger this off of I get an error that I cannot use setfocus in a valid method. How do I put the cursor to the field I need, if I cannot place the statement in the valid method?
