Personally, I've never seen or heard of a case where PKZip corrupted a file.

- Have you tried different media (if you're using a floppy, etc.)?
- Maybe ReFox depends on the date/time of the file. By default PKZip leaves it the same - are you perhaps turning that option off?

Try the following:
- ZIP the file
- UNZIP to another folder
- use the command-line FC command to compare the files; they should be identical. (FC /? for syntax)

Are you certain the correct runtimes (including service pack if applicable) can be found by each copy of the .EXE you're testing?
