Not a rumor, that is a fact. And if you are using VFP 7, then you don't have a choice but to use Implements/EventHandler. This is a viable alternative which quite frankley, does not have the need for a separate DLL. It is a bit more cumbersome than VFPCOM, but it does work. From a technical/purist standpoint, it is probably a more correct approach since you have to strictly adhere to the interface you are implementing.

My advice is geared more toward administrative convience than anything.
