Thanks for trying to suggest a workaround for my problem. Unfortunately, I've tried them all and none worked. I did, however, found another way to do what I required without relying on the Alt Key. I simply checked for nShift = 3 in MouseDown(). 3 is the result of pressing both Shift and Ctrl. It'll do...for now.

Three (third one is free :) try to set focus to something on your form, or even to issue a Mouse() on it, just to have some activity on the form to deactivate the menu. Keyboard "{F10}" should have the same effect on the menu, so if it's activated it may be used to deactivate it.
