>Why does Form 3 move behind Form 2 when Form 4 is released? If I make the desktop property false all the forms everything works fine but I would like to keep the desktop properties true.

The meaning of DESKTOP property is to run independent forms in the same app with no bonds to the others. If I got your point, all that you need is something like:

myparentform (desktop, astoplevel)

mychild1 (intoplevel)
mychild2 (intoplevel)
...
mychildN (intoplevel)
