I have a dell port replicator with a 21 inch monitor, logitech laser mouse, regular keyboard, speakers, and all the network stuff plugs in the back. I just shutdown and unplug and go home. When I boot remote I make sure to answer yes when prompted to "attempt to restore network connection next time". When in the office I just stick in the station and turn it on. If I want I can take the mouse with me ( or have a spare ). The only down side is now I have opened myself up to working all hours of the night instead of sleeping. Windows 2000 has a problem with dual monitors like I had in 98, so you don't open the laptop lid when docked which in my mind save a little wear and tear. With the big monitor I don't miss the twins.
