>>>No, I use Visual Interdev for web applications development. This forum helps me to retain my sanity! I was hired for my experience with Visual FoxPro. For my final interview for my present position I was asked to give a demo of a Visual FoxPro application I have developed. I did and I got hired. By the way it is a cool app and runs a California Water Department.

>>>The younger developers come to me with VB and Visual Interdev problems. So I put up an Intranet to include the questions they ask and the solutions. With 80 developers and over 50 servers we do have fun. One minute of down time costs $10,000. You do not want to make a mistake. By the way we build cars and trucks for Toyota and General Motors.

>I have seen several Toyota Prius vehicles on the road and in the parking lot. They move well at freeway speed, are quiet and look good. This is a new technology and a nice way to get over 50 miles per gallon of gas. I hope the industry on an international level does a lot more to explore this concept and others that do not use a lot of OIL.

Thanks Tom. I went to a dealer back in January and asked to drive one. He said they didn't have, and didn't expect to have, a demonstrator!
I asked how he expected to sell them under such conditions and he told me he had sold a dozen already!
He took my phone number to call me when they do get a demonstrator. No call yet.
Sadly, I have yet to put my eyes on a real one! But I sure like the concept too. The 8 year warranty on the battery seems a bit worrisome, since it costs somewhere around $8,000.
