Just wondering - where did this date come from ?

From what I've read, there is no definitive known date, several have been proposed such as 10th March, 7th April, 14th May, 28th June, 3rd October. When interviewed, he only stated year (1377 AH, which converts to July 29 1957 - July 17 1958). In the middle east, there's often the tendency to use the date of registering the birth as the birhday rather than the actual date of birth. Often only the month & year are registered & it is common practice to use the middle of the month as the day that is celebrated.

So I'm guessing the above is just another urban myth.
