The intention in sending this was mainly as a sample for processing files in subfolders (using recursion), but of course it may be useful for its original purpose as well! In this case, you will have to figure out the command-line option of your favorite compression program. The one I use in the sample is pacomp.exe, a freeware you can get from
www.powerarchiver.com.
The recursion can be adapted to create the list of files you wanted - as a matter of fact, come to think of it, it would be worthwhile to modify the function, to just generate the list of files. Afterwards, it is easy for a developer to loop through the list and do almost anything, like deleting the files, adding them to a backup archive, etc.
