Hi Mark.
I'm having trouble with my Okidata ML320 printer (DOT matrix). Drycleaners use printers like this to print out laundry tag (usually 0.5 inches tall and about 6 inches wide - 0.5 x 6.0 inches). They are proliferated so that they can be teared off as they come of the printer.

PROBLEM: I can't stop the printer from form feeding beyond the TEAR-OFF level. It always form feeds way too much. The user has to manually use the PLATEN knob to roll the tag to tear off bar.

I've seen other DOT matrix printer advance the tag just enough so that the user only has to tear the printed tags and the printer will automatically reset the tag to proper printer position.

Anyway I can't seem to make my Okidata ML320 to work that way.
