Another thing which I tried once, but was slow and I lost interest in it (should actually leave it as optional) was the Pack VCXes thing. Most of the other dbf-like files in a project are open exclusive while being edited, but classlibs are not, and by the time team is done with editing, they suffer from unnecessary deleted records and memo bloat. I've managed to reduce the size of the executable by packing all the vcxes by more than a megabyte.
