I figured it had to be something like that. Hopefully someone else has come across this and figured out how to return the XML back through the firewall.

I spent a good part of last weekend building a cool demo (using VFP of course) on web services for a conference that we put on for users of our software. I did all the development my home box - and it worked great - and then the darned thing wouldn't work from behind the firewall at work - it timed out just as you described....
