So I went and got it and a few hotfixes and thought you had solved the equation. I can know click back and forth between the command window and the main window and run up and down the standard menu as long as I don't activate a command on the bar. My click back and forth limit is 6 however before lock-up occurs. I think I have narrowed the problem down to when VFP has to create an object from a command issued on the menu bar. As soon as the object is release ( like I close the options box ) I hang-up again. I have tried Mike Helland's idea on the WDOCKABLE() and it changed the anomoly's behavior, but didn't stop it.

Well, at least we've gotten closer. Are you running Client32 or MS Client?
