I have not purchased Visual Studio, nor do I plan to in the immediate future. My needs at this time are more than satisfied with VFP 5.0a. When then next release of VFP and Visual Studio comes out I will wait and see how many problems and bugs are reported before deciding which route I will take (buy the studio or just the 1 tool I need)to move to VFP 6
