I have an application driven by a master data file that is supposed to be updated occasionally by messages sent from a mainframe through a TCP/IP connection. I was wondering if there is any Listen type of interface that would be DDE enabled, so it will detect the incoming message and also notify my application of the message queue status.
I suppose that I could write my own using Winsock API, which unfortunately I'm not too familiar with.
Any comments / references greatly appreciated.
