My development machine is WIN 2000, using VFP6SP5.
I have gone through the setup wizard and checked the
activex checkbox and (in the activex dialog box) selected
about 7 activex controls. Now when i go through the
setup wizard again, the activex checkbox is not checked.
(it does not stay checked like it should).
When I check it and go into the activex selection dialog
box again, none of the controls i selected before are
selected either.

any ideas ?

by the way, i have one item at the top of the activex
control list, that does not have a description, but it
is always checked. i don't know what that is either.

ADDENDUM. just messed with it a little more....
i click on the activex checkbox and go into the "add activex
control dialog box". i select a couple controls and click
CLOSE. when the dialog box closes, the 'active-x' checkbox
immediately clears. if i turn around and go right back into
the "add active-x dialog box", again, none are selected.
(i haven't even left that step of the wizard).
