Two other fellows in our office and myself installed it. They love it; I hated it and removed it. It dramatically changes the Windows interface. If you want everything to look like a browser--including regular Explorer windows--it's great. Personally, I like to know when I 'm looking at a web page and when I'm looking at my local drive. Although you can set it to do "Classic" Windows interface, there's an irritating delay every time you open a window.
There's a lot of talk about it in the FoxPro board. Someone reported that if you uninstall IE4, do not select the "Remove temp files" option or it will crash your system. I think most people concluded that it is a good beta but not yet ready for full deployment.
If you have a full-time Internet connection, IE4 might not be so bad; if you use a dialup ISP and pay by the minute, I don't think it's so good; because everything looks like a browser window, you might not be able readily to tell when you are connected.
My advice is to work with it on someone else's computer before you install it on yours.
