So then it would be a bug, but in VFP 6 (and prior, I suppose).
I agree with your logic.
But it serves as yet another instance where some feedback from MS on bug submissions is necessary. At the very least it show the criticality of getting submissions into the KB for public review as soon as possible.

Over the 2+ months that VFP7 has been available the KB bug list has grown from 40 entries to 61 entries (many being HowTo or Fix types). This is far far too slow of a rate given the rate and quantity of bugs reported here and directly to MS for VFP7.

The question is, how to get this (radically) improved???????????
