I've used this function on a Novell network drive, and CD ROM, as well as a local drive without any problems. The network path doesn't seem to necessarily return all the information. I don't know about whether or not it works with NT, but you would think it should. Make sure that you're allocating buffer space and passing the proper variable by references (the @ symbol). If you still have problems, post what you did, and I'll be glad to help.
