VFP 6,0, Win98:

In order to establish that an application could be re-installed if that for any reason might be required, I got the message "Setup Error 283. Object 8". Your setup files may be damaged. Try runnning setup from the same souce as originally, (or words to that effect.)

But I have tried and tried over again, both running the setup from the directory where the Setup Wizard placed the files, and from the CD installation master I created.

I have tried deleting the program folder as well as the applications .exe-file, which I have installed in the Windows folder.

I also have restarted the machine, but that didn't help either.

Anyone got a solution for this problem?
