Hi,

I am trying to convert an application from 2.x to version 6 multi user environment.

I compiled the source code into ver. 6, did some required changes, everything worked fine.

Then when I tried to convert this single user app. to multiuser it slowed down, saving in the table which used to take few seconds now goes in minutes.

I am using free tables, no buffering, filelock while appending blank record, freeing file lock and record lock after that while replacing values from the variables into the table and freeing rlock after that.

does anybody knows what may be causing the slow down.
