I wonder if anyone has tried to fire menu items or hot keys with a scanner? We made a bar code consisting of e.g. Ctrl + F, Alt + B using the CHR() function. The problem we encountered was when you are focused in a text box or another control. Instead of firing an interrupt (which works if you are focused on the toolbar) the literal characters are stuffed into the textbox control itself.
