I have never faced this problem with Access...
I am using Access2000 & VB6, many places in my application depends on the date:
- In the Access file the field Data Type is (Short Date)
and I save the date as "dd/mm/yyyy", saved & retreved without any missing/problem.

>>G'day All,
>>I am having great difficulty getting dates to save in an access database in the format I require. Regional settings set to "dd/mm/yyyy".
>>
>>The problem is with days 12 and less where access seems to have a mind of its own. Sometimes it will save correctly others it will reverse the positions of the dd/mm to mm/dd.

>You to let Access save the date as it wants. The format in which Access (and other databases) stocks the date is not important.
>
>You need to give the database engine a date in a format that will be recognize without ambiguity. The format I like most yyyy/mm/dd. This way, you won't have problem.
