Well, take what the docs say with a big grain of salt. Depending on the application type (highly transactional, reporting, etc.) what happens is that performance starts to suffer with over 5-10 concurrent users. That really means concurrent active connections, not just total number of users for an application.

So, take a look at the application's projected concurrent users and consider if you should be using Access.
